Our Story
Aperture Orbit Systems was founded by platform engineers who saw the same pattern repeated across dozens of organizations: technical teams with real talent and genuine desire to do good work, held back by infrastructure decisions they inherited rather than chose.
We started as a practice within larger consulting organizations, where we learned what works and what doesn't. We saw consultants recommend beautiful architectures that no one knew how to operate. We saw internal platform teams build for the ideal, not the actual. We saw technology choices driven by trend, not by the work the business needed to do.
In 2022, we decided to work independently. That gave us the freedom to focus on the engagements that matter—organizations with genuine operational complexity, leadership that understands platform as a competitive advantage, and engineering teams hungry to work differently.
Today we work with mid-market logistics companies, healthcare software firms, financial operations teams, and B2B SaaS companies. We help them design cloud platforms they can actually run, deliver software safely at the pace business demands, and operate with the clarity and confidence that comes from being able to measure what matters.
